Hosting a facility tour is a fantastic way to show how your operation uses best practices and equipment to support your organization’s goals. Your company’s logo will be featured in multiple event announcements, on social media, and in e-blasts for the region. You will also get logo placement, a link on a dedicated slide during the event’s welcome presentation (if applicable), and a sponsor table where you can share branded materials.

Basics

Events at a local facility include networking, a company introduction, at least 15 minutes of Q&A, and a tour. Typically, both a facility representative and a vendor representative lead the event. The event must be educational and not just a sales pitch. These tours are a great way to demonstrate how your operation successfully implements best practices and equipment.

What lead time does WERC need?

Since this sponsorship requires coordination with the WERC/MHI event schedule and approval by WERC National, don't hesitate to contact us well before your proposed date. Ideally, please give us at least six weeks' notice so we can market the event properly.

What are my obligations?

• A location for people to meet before and after the tour to check in and network.
• Person(s) to facilitate and lead the tour.

How much time is required for the facility tour and/or education session?

• Your company decides how much time it wishes to dedicate, but typically, these events last approximately 1.5 hours to 3 hours
