High-output distribution centers, primarily those shipping more than 20,000 to 25,000 packages per day, have faced major challenges due to recent events. Being able to respond quickly to customer demands requires the proper application of both new and existing production methods for faster and more accurate order fulfillment. In this session we'll discuss both, along with the advantages and disadvantages of emerging technologies.

Steve Wilson, Warehouse Design Consultant
Siggins

 Steve Wilson, a former Navy engineer, has been working with Siggins for the past eleven years as a Systems Engineer, Analyst and Warehouse Design Consultant. He is a member of Toastmasters, and has presented seminars at both MODEX and Promat among others. Steve's keen eye for detail, engineering background and his desire to continually advance his knowledge of the design process has made him an invaluable member of the Siggins Systems Department. He has extensive knowledge of conveyor systems, automated picking systems, and other recent developments in distribution technology.
